Description
83'
There is more Newcastle pressure and Wilson wins a corner after Tete clears it out following a challenge. Joelinton gets on the cross but his header is looping and Leno claims commandingly.
81'
Wilson wins a free-kick after a foul from Ream. Trippier's delivery is once again headed clear from Diop before there is an offside as Newcastle try to recycle the ball.
80'
With Adarabioyo on for Pereira it looks like Fulham have moved to a 5-4-1 to try and combat Newcastle's move to play two up front.
78'
D. James enters the game and replaces Willian.
77'
T. Adarabioyo enters the game and replaces Andreas Pereira.
Willian also makes way with James coming on in a like-for-like change.

Pereira delivers the ball into the box from long range. Newcastle fail to clear fully but Palhinha and Mitrovic get into each other's way and Mitrovic slices it wide.
74'
Willian gives the ball away and Joelinton has it in a great position. The Brazillian tries to slide through Wilson but Ream reacts well to block the pass.
73'
Isak will partner Wilson up front with Newcastle moving to an attacking 4-4-2.
72'
The Newcastle fans have come alive and nearly will the ball into the goal after a fine cross from Schar. Wilson rises but misses the header and it goes out for a goal kick.
71'
A. Isak enters the game and replaces J. Willock.
Newcastle's second sub of the game sees Willock make way for Isak.
69'
N. Pope gets yellow.
Pope is delaying the taking of the penalty and is booked for his timewasting.
Penalty Miss Aleksandar Mitrović
65'
The game is really opening up and Newcastle come alive through Almiron down the left. Diop, who has made numerous key blocks, is there once again to snuff out the danger and concede a corner with a block.
64'
De Cordova-Reid breaks down the left-hand side and fires it into Pereira. It's a great turn from the Brazillian who beats Burn before going down. There are appeals from the Fulham player but the referee is having none of it.
63'
Andreas Pereira gets yellow.
Pereira commits a cynical foul on Wilson with the forward breaking forward and goes into the book as well.
62'
Wilson heads wide from the corner after a much-improved delivery from Trippier.
61'
This free-kick is in a perfect area for Trippier and it came after some more great work from Joelinton.
60'
T. Ream gets yellow.
Joelinton is fouled on the edge of the box after some fantastic footwork. Ream is booked for his challenge.
58'
Saint-Maximin is eager to impress off the bench and has received the ball on numerous occasions in the early periods of this second half. Tete has largely stayed composed and dealt well with his opposite number, however. Saint-Maximin's latest effort is a low cross but Diop is there to clear it well away from danger.
56'
Pereira's corner is well-hit with pace. Pope misjudges the flight but reacts well to punch it out for another corner which Newcastle can clear.
55'
Fulham enjoy a positive spell of possession and De Cordova-Reid's cross is deflected out for their second corner of the second half.
52'
Fulham get a corner of their own but Palhinha's effort sails comfortably over the bar.
51'
Again the threat is down the right wing. Trippier and Almiron combine well and a recovering Fulham tackle sends it out for another corner. Trippier's cross is met by Wilson but his header is well wide.
49'
The delivery from the resulting free-kick is poor, once again, from Trippier as it sails over and out for a throw-in.
48'
L. Kurzawa gets yellow.
Kurzawa blatantly tugs back Almiron's shirt after he had spun the Fulham left-back. The Frenchman receives the first yellow card of the game.
46'
A. Saint-Maximin enters the game and replaces Bruno Guimarães.

As predicted, it is Joelinton who moves back into midfield with Saint-Maximin taking his place on the left wing.
45' +4
A long-range Newcastle free-kick is headed clear by Fulham. It falls to Almiron but his effort isn't caught well and trickles through to Leno.
HALF-TIME: Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
45'
There will be three minutes of stoppage time in this first half.
44'
Trippier's effort is a long way out and it strikes the wall before heading out for a corner.
The corner comes to nothing and Fulham look to break. Tripper's backpass towards Pope is underhit but the Newcastle goalie is out of his box quick enough to clear it with Fulham's shirts bearing down on him.
42'
It is a soft challenge from Pereira on Longstaff and the Newcastle midfielder wins a free-kick in a promising position.
41'
Trippier receives the ball high up the pitch and works it inside to Longstaff. He threads it through to Wilson on the right edge of the box. The striker cuts it back into the area but there is no one on hand to met it and Fulham can clear.
37'
A mazy run from Willian moves Fulham up the pitch and the ball is worked out to Kurzawa. His cross is poor and held by Pope. Newcastle, in turn, break with the ball and Longstaff attempted cut-back in the box can't find Wilson and goes behind for a corner of Diop.
35'
Guimaraes receives extra strapping on his ankle and looks okay to continue. The nature of Pope's injury is unclear but the Newcastle shot-stopper remains on the pitch for now.
34'
There is another stop in play as both Pope and Guimaraes are receiving treatment.
33'
A burst of energy down the left from Willock is too much for Tete. His cutback evades Wilson but Almiron gets hold of the ball and sees his effort deflected out for a corner. Tripper delivers from the set piece and it falls to Willock on the edge of the box but his effort is sliced well wide of the left post.
30'
Schar concedes a corner which Pereira delivers. Once again, Mitrovic concedes a foul and Newcastle have a free-kick.
27'
Almiron feeds it out to Tripper on the right who cuts it back to Guimaraes. It is whipped in and deflected out for a corner amid appeals for a handball. Leno comes and claims the resulting corner well.
23'
Newcastle are growing well into this game and the right-hand side is again the threat. Trippier is afforded plenty of space and his floated cross is met by Wilson but directed straight at Leno.
21'
Wilson is found by Longstaff in the penalty box but Diop just about closes down the centre forward and his effort is blocked and then cleared away by Fulham.
20'
More good play down the Newcastle right and it is a nice one-two between Longstaff and Almiron. The later delivers the cross but a retreating Reed clears the cross away.
19'
Guimaraes is up and walking again and it looks like the central midfielder will be okay to continue.
18'
Guimaraes is down after an attempted challenge with Palhinha. It looks like the Brazillian has rolled his ankle awkwardly on landing and he is receiving treatment.
16'
Pereira delivers but the corner is cleared by Joelinton. Willian gets the chance to cross again but there is a foul from Mitrovic and it is a free-kick to Newcastle.
15'
Diop intercepts the play well and bursts down the right-hand side. He combines will with Willian whose cross is blocked and goes out for a corner.
13'
Reed and Willian combine well before a long switch over to De Cordova-Reid gives the Fulham winger some space. He dances inside one but Schar closes him down and snuffs out the chance.
12'
Wilson makes a good run down the channel and receives the ball. Willock makes a darting run into the box to offer support but Ream is across to deflect the cross out for a corner which Fulham deal with.
10'
Newcastle give the ball away cheaply in midfield and Pereira is able to deliver the cross. Mitrovic controls the ball but his effort is smothered well before Tete's effort rises well over the bar.
9'
Pereira lofts in a free-kick after a foul on De Cordova-Reid but Burn rises high to head it clear for the home side.
7'
Newcastle's fast start hasn't deterred Fulham from their passing ways but a poor pass from Leno to Ream almost gets Fulham in trouble. Almiron's tackle can't win back the ball fully, though, and it goes out for a goal kick.
3'
The first effort of the game is fired wide by Willock. A long ball is cushioned down well by Joelinton to Willock but the Englishman's curling effort from outside the box is well wide of the left post.
2'
It's the early stages but it looks as if Willian and De Cordova-Reid are playing on opposite wings to normal with the Brazillian on the right and De Cordova-Reid on the left.

Fulham get this Premier League fixture underway!
Hello and welcome to this live commentary for the Premier League fixture between Newcastle United and Fulham from St. James' Park.
Fulham also have plenty to celebrate after their excellent start to life in the Premier League under Marco Silva. The London side have won their last four games including most recently a famous 2-1 victory of west-London rivals, Chelsea. Newcastle have lost just once this season but a victory for Fulham today would see them move provisionally into fifth place.
FULHAM SUBS: Manor Solomon, Tom Cairney, Carlos Vinicius, Luke Harris, Nathaniel Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, Harry Wilson, Marek Rodak, Daniel James.
FULHAM (4-2-3-1): Bernd Leno; Kenny Tete, Issa Diop, Tim Ream, Layvin Kurzawa; Joao Palhinha, Harrison Reed; Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Andreas Pereira, Willian; Aleksandar Mitrovic.
NEWCASTLE SUBS: Jamal Lewis, Matt Ritchie, Chris Wood, Martin Dubravka, Alexander Isak, Jamaal Lascelles, Javier Manquillo, Jacob Murphy, Allan Saint-Maximin.
NEWCASTLE UNITED (4-3-3): Nick Pope; Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman, Dan Burn; Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes, Joe Willock; Miguel Almiron, Callum Wilson, Joelinton.
Newcastle head into this game buoyed on by their midweek victory in the EFL cup which sees Eddie Howe's side through to the semi-finals. They are unbeaten since their return to Premier League action after the World Cup and after an impressive draw against Arsenal in their last league fixture, the Magpies know a win here will move them back into third place and just a point behind defending champions Manchester City.
Fulham are winless in their last six Premier League away games against Newcastle (D3 L3) since a 1-0 victory in May 2009. Their last two visits to St James' Park have finished level.
Eddie Howe will be pleased with the way his side have largely controlled the ball and the chances but will want to see an improvement in the final pass or shot which has let his Newcastle side down so far. Fulham and Marco Silva have yet to register a shot on target but are still in this game. There have been moments of threat through Willian and Pereira but they will need more of those as well as increased service to Mitrovic if they are to get a goal in this second half.
That is all for today - thanks for tuning in!
That is a massive win for Newcastle who move third. They travel away to Crystal Palace next Saturday. Fulham remain sixth but miss the chance to go fifth after that defeat. They host Tottenham, who sit fifth, next weekend.
