Everton come into this game in 17th place, just a point above the relegation zone. Frank Lampard’s side are winless in their last four competitive fixtures, but beat Celtic and WS Wanderers in friendly matches during the World Cup break. Anthony Gordon scored a hat-trick against the latter as the Toffees won 5-1.
Julen Lopetegui takes charge of his first Premier League game as he looks to take Wolves off the bottom of the league table. He did win his first competitive game as manager after Wolves knocked Gillingham out of the EFL Cup thanks to late goals from Raul Jimenez and Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Despite having far more possession, Everton have only managed to create one more chance than Wolves with the away side also having more touches in the opposition box. The Toffees' attacking trio have had the fewest touches in the team so far, something which will have to change if they want to get the win in this game.
